A footnote is citation, but it’s also an aside, or a recommendation, or something that is interesting enough to elaborate on, but maybe not important enough to be part of a central argument. So that’s the basic idea for this blog: Recommended further reading, historical asides, small tidbits, things that aren’t that important. Also you play soccer with your feet, so there’s that.
